On the 15th July, 2026 we launched the new eNudge Drag and Drop Email Campaign Editor, built from the ground up for our eNudge users.
We have taken this important step, to provide eNudge users with an editor that works seamlessly with the rest of eNudge, and provides numerous improvements over the previously embedded tool.
What are the improvements?
There are many! The following is a list of the improvements you will notice:
- Fast loading & saving; no more waiting 10 seconds or more every time you launch the editor, or save your work.
- If you click to exit out of the editor, but haven’t yet saved your work, you will be prompted to save first; no more losing your changes because you forgot to click Save.
- You can now save your current campaign out as a template, straight from the campaign editor. This is much more intuitive than needing to create a template from within templates, first, and then add it to your campaign.
- When inserting images via the free stock images:
- You can now choose from either photos or illustrations, and
- The size of any image you choose is automatically converted to less than 1Mb in size; no more errors advising you that the image is too big to use.
- When inserting text into the editor, because this is done in the inspector panel, any rogue HTML formatting from the source is stripped out if you copy and paste into it; no more concerns with unsupported HTML coming with your text.
- You have quick access to content blocks, row options (including saved rows), and personalisation fields via the left hand panel, which is always visible. This is quicker and more intuitive than the navigation method in the previous editor, which could be confusing.
- It’s easier to add new elements to your email campaign, either by:
- clicking on the item in the left panel, to add it to the bottom of the campaign, or
- dragging and dropping the element into the required location.
- Column editing is more intuitive; click to select your column, and then get access to actions such as add a column to the left or right. The percentage width of each column is automatically adjusted to fit with each addition or deletion of a column, but you can also adjust the percentage manually and automatically spread the columns evenly with a click of one button while editing the whole row.
- WCAG checker; accessibility is very important. We have provided a WCAG checker within our new editor to help you make your email more accessible.
- Import HTML; you can now import a file containing HTML layout of an email. For example, if you designed an email in Canva or another email service provider, you can import that to save you time re-creating your email layout in eNudge.
There will be more improvements, particularly regarding the seamless access of the editor, in the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned via our regular eNudge notes, or through the eNudge Facebook page.
