Despite the mechanism to unsubscribe being included in the bottom of every Enudge email and Enudge SMS message, making it super easy for your contacts to unsubscribe, some times a contact will call, text or email you asking you to remove them from your list.

To make sure that you don't accidentally email or SMS the person again from your Enudge account, you should ensure that you edit the contact and add the Unsubscribed Date manually to their record.

Please note, each contact has two separate unsubscribe fields:

  • Email Unsubscribe Date

  • SMS Unsubscribe Date

Having two fields allows your contact to unsubscribe from all emails, but still receive text messages, and vice versa.

You should obviously add the date of the unsubscribe request to the appropriate field. Once you have added a date into either of the above fields, and saved the change, you cannot remove the unsubscribe date.
