Customising how your email appears on mobile devices is very easy with the Enudge drag and drop editor.

You might like to view our YouTube Video to see how mobile responsiveness can be achieved using the Enudge Drag and Drop Editor.

Editing Elements

Firstly, while editing your campaign, use the desktop / mobile icons in the top left to choose how you are previewing:

While in mobile view, you will see that for some elements you can specify different measurements for mobile:

You can also turn on / off individual elements on mobile using the icons at the very bottom right corner:

Editing Rows

Selecting a row also gives you access to additional layout settings for mobile:

Stack on mobile

Multi-column rows can be set to stack on mobile (i.e. the first column is placed on top of the 2nd, and so on) or not. If 'Stack on mobile' is turned off, then the columns will be shown side by side on mobile, and the contents shrunk where possible to fit. That's why by default, stack on mobile will be turned on. In some cases, it is better to turn this off by clicking the 'OFF' button.

Stack order on mobile

By default, as described above, the first column will be shown first. Some times, for example where you have alternating rows of text followed by an image, and then an image followed by text, it makes more sense to change the order of the columns on mobile to achieve a better flow of information. Change the order by clicking on the 2nd button.

Hide

By default, every row will be shown on both desktop and mobile. However, in certain situations where your content is hard to render usefully on both mobile and desktop, you might choose to have one version of a row that is shown on desktop, and another version that is shown on mobile. For example, a complex graph might work on the desktop view, but be replaced by a summary image on mobile.

In such a case, hide one version of the row for mobile, and hide the other version of the row for desktop, but clicking on the appropriate desktop or mobile icon.
