To help you get started using Enudge, we have created your first campaign for you - it's called 'My First Enudge Email' and attached you as a contact on that campaign. Check out that campaign by sending yourself a test message and editing the content.

You can copy the test message into a new campaign, or create a new email campaign as follows:

  1. Choose Campaigns from the main menu, and then choose New Email Campaign.

  2. Fill in the form, ensuring that you complete the mandatory fields; these are:

  • Campaign Name - a unique name for this particular message.

  • Email subject - you can personalise by placing your cursor in the subject and then choosing the required information from the 'personalisation fields' drop down.

  • Logo position - where in your message the embedded logo image will appear.

  • Date to Send - this will default to today, but you can schedule your campaign into the future.

3. Click Save Campaign.  You now have an email campaign ready for you to create your content inside.

To work on the content of the campaign click 2. Edit Content and Test. from the sub-navigation. scroll down to the bottom of the content showing on screen (which will be largely blank if you have just created a new campaign) and click on the 'Edit' button to launch the Enudge drag and drop editor.

The quickest way to create your first mobile responsive email message is to start with a template style where all the hard work has been done for you.  Click on the file drawer icon in the top left of the screen, and click on 'Choose Template'. Hover over a template that looks like what you need, and click 'Insert Template'. You can also create your own templates.

Edit your message (we have a collection of articles about using the drag and drop editor). Once you are finished, click the Save button in the top right, then choose 'Return to Campaign' from the file drawer navigation.

You will now want to send yourself a test email.  You first need to attach yourself as a contact on the campaign:  Click 3. Attach Contacts.  There are numerous options for attaching your contacts... for now just select the first contact you created earlier, and click the Process Selected Contacts.

Send your test message by choosing 2. Email Content & Test, selecting your contact from the drop down in the Send a Test Message form at the bottom of the screen, and clicking the Send Test Message button.  NB: if you have more than 500 contacts attached to your campaign the send function is removed - we didn't want to make it too hard for you to find the right contact!

Once you're ready to send your email message, go back and attach all your contacts, and then choose 4. Send.  Review the campaign settings, and click Send Campaign.

(If you need to change any of the settings, go back to the 1. Campaign Settings screen.)

The date and time upon which your campaign will start sending will be displayed on screen.  If for any reason you wish to stop sending your campaign, change the status to 'Closed' in the Campaign Settings screen.
