In the Enudge drag & drop editor, you can edit images you have placed in you email content, applying numerous effects. These include:

· Applying photographic filters

· Resizing the image

· Cropping the image

· Transforming the image with rotation, horizontal and vertical flipping

· Applying freehand drawing with variable colour, brush type and brush size

· Add text with control over colour and font

· An array of Shapes, Stickers and Frames

Within each section you will discover an array of available features to help you enhance your image content.

Steps:

First, add an image into your email campaign body or template.

Then, click on the image you want to apply an effect to, and click on the 'Apply effects' button in the right-hand panel. Your image will now be displayed, and you will see the following menu of options above your image:

A black and white image of a pencil and a text

Depending on the type of effect you want to apply, click on the icon to start editing.

For example, clicking on the Sticker Icon presents the following menu:

A logo of a star

From here I want to apply one of the Emoticons, so I will click the 'Emoticons' icon.

You will now see a menu of Emoticons that can be applied to your image

To apply an emoticon, click once on the emoticon you want. This will now place the emoticon onto your image as demonstrated below:

A logo of a company

Notice that the emoticon is highlighted with five dots. This is the standard when applying most effects, and allows you to move and resize the effect. You may also notice a new menu to the left of your screen:

A black and white logo

This toolbar allows you to make horizontal and vertical changes to the effect if appropriate for the type of effect you are applying.

Using the selected item, you can move it using your mouse. To resize the effect, place your mouse over one of the dots in the four corners, hold down the mouse key and to resize the effect.

The dot above the effect allows you to rotate.

Once you are finished, just click any area outside the effect.

Click the Close button on the top left of your screen.

If you want to make further changes, simply click the appropriate effect icon to start editing it.

If you want to delete an effect such as an inserted icon, click on it then press your Delete key on you keyboard.

When you have finished making changes, click one of the following buttons in the top right:

A blue and grey square

Clicking the 'Cancel' button will return you to the main editor screen and ALL your effects will be deleted.

Clicking on the 'Save' button will return you to the main editor screen where you will see the effects applied to your selected image.

Of course, you still need to click 'Save' to apply the changes to your email.

Applying effects to your images within the email template does not change the image that you uploaded. The original image remains within your image assets and can be added to your email content or replace the image you have applied effects to, should you decide that the effects are no longer required. The edited image can be found in the 'editor-images' folder.

The above steps regarding how to use the Effects editor apply to most sections of the editor. The one noticeable difference is the Draw section.

The only way to delete a drawing from your image is to click on the Cancel button in the top right of the screen. This also removes all other effects you may have applied in the editor session.
