Using different background colours for sections of your emails can help the reader to differentiate parts of your content, and make it more visually appealing.

If you prefer to watch how this is done, please view the video.

Change the Background behind the Content Area

While editing your email using the Enudge drag and drop editor:

  1. Select the whole row, which contains the element to which you want to add a background colour, by clicking in the left or right edges of the campaign content area.

  2. The right hand panel will navigate to the Row Properties. At the top you will see two colour options: Row Background Color and Content Area Background Color.

  3. Click on the colour box to the left of "Content Area Background Color" to:

    1. use the colour picker to select the desired colour, or

    2. choose a previously selected colour.

  4. Alternatively, you can click in the named colour field, and type in your colour or simply type "transparent" to use the colour that is assigned to the whole row.

Change the Background of the Row (i.e. to the edges)
