If you are reading this article, we assume you have already set up DMARC on your domain and have been receiving daily aggregate reports.

These reports contain useful information such as:

  1. Source from which emails using your domain originated. A source is either a server under your control or a third-party platform that’s sending email on your behalf.

  2. The IP address of the message source.

  3. The server name of the message source.

  4. The number of messages sent from a source.

  5. The result of SPF authentication.

  6. The result of DKIM authentication.

These report emails are not very easy to read as they are presented in XML format. For this reason, we recommend using DMARCIAN; a free tool which processes your DMARC aggregate reports all in one location. This online tool compiles data over time and presents it in a human-readable form via dashboards and data tables, helping you to understand the use of your domain for email sends and take action as required.

To use DMARCIAN to manage DMARC reports, you need to create an account. Sign up for free here. Your account will qualify for the free pricing tier if you are tracking no more than 2 domains and less than 10,000 messages per month. Follow these steps to set up your account:

  1. Add the domain associated with your DMARC record, which will be the domain of the sending email you intend to use from your Enudge account.

  2. Publish the DMARC record supplied by DMARCIAN so that the tool can start collecting your DMARC data.

  3. Allow a few days for data to accumulate into your DMARCIAN account.

For more information about how to set up an account with DMARCIAN and use the results to manage your DMARC settings, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Enudge team.
