Adding hyperlinks to text and images inside your Enudge emails is vital to achieving engagement with your organisation as a result of your message.

To add a hyperlink to an image, select the image inside the email content editor.  From the toolbar choose Insert, Insert/Edit Link to bring up the Insert Link window.

In the URL field type in the URL of the site you want to link to your image (e.g. http://www.mywebsite.com.au). You can specify a title for the link through the Title field - the title can appear when you hover over the link, and can be helpful for search engine optimisation. You can also choose if you want the link to open in the same or in new window using the target options. Click OK when you are done.

To create a text hyperlink, highlight the relevant text, and repeat the above steps.

Depending on the template applied to your email campaign, by default the text link may be underlined and coloured blue. To change the colour and underline you need to edit the html code by clicking on Tools, Source code from the toolbar.

Look for the a href code. Paste the code below in between a and href

style="text-decoration: none; color: #000000;"

In the example given above, ‘none’ means no underline, and the colour #000000 is black.

After inserting the style code, the source code in the editor will look something like this:
